About us

Our cat´s story began on the way home by train from our parents in Ostrava back to Prague eight years ago. At that time beautiful kittens were born (village true-born ones) at the neighbour´s and all at once we realized our mutual strong desire for pets who would be able to put us into spirits after coming back home from work. We ruminated over doggies at first but our shortage of time prevented us from this wish. We, however, did not want to recede from the attractive idea. So we brought home a cat (tortoise colour), she was suitable little animal for us. Her name was Sammy. She knew how to purr superbly and to nestle close to people calming them down. She was, however, an uncontrollable self-made-creature playing with everything within gasp. That was one of the reasons why we brought a new cat named Lily. Both cats became real friends at once carrying rascality on and on. In spite of that they were very good friends we were forced to put Sammy away to our very close fried due to Sammy´s associate behaviour. After that Lily remained alone for a longer time. We lavished her with love and she became a sure-enough family pet sitting by us for a long hours, observing us, purring and being thankful to us for every caress.
One of an early August evening we surprised Lilly by bringing home the handsome blue tom-cat named Honey. They became accustomed to one another within a very short time and became quite inseparable friends. It was love at the first sight between them.
When browsing the www of a catteries last summer, we uncovered existence of a charming British chocolate sort. That predetermined our next steps, i.e. to get this sort of kitten as soon as possible. We were lucky and we reached our target to obtain a British chocolate kitten named Nairi in October 2008. We pardon her all her roguishness. We wanted to have a good time and watching kitten´s playing and that is why we decided to fetch her snow-white stepsister Gabi. The two little girl-kitten chummed up and began to do lovely funny business. Then we found out beauteous new-born colourpoint kittens in a cattery not far from Prague and had a urgent wish for acquiring a chocopoint girl-kitten. And so Ori (it is her name) became member of our family in February 2009.
That´s the short story how our kitten´s trinity came into being and the Royal Sapphire Cattery sprang into existence.........
